This development arrives at a time when inflationary pressures have significantly increased the cost of essential services and goods throughout the province. This 10% increase reflects the province’s effort to align public assistance with actual economic conditions. The SIS program is designed to cover basic living needs such as shelter, utilities, food, transportation, and other daily essentials
